Todays craft was finishing these bird houses with clear coat. Most of the day was spent gardening. The fence extension is up, poles are in for some trellises and racks are set up for plant hardening. Best of all, broccoli, yellow zucchini, thyme, chives, camomile and echinacea were planted in the ground and we got a row cover set up over most of it for frost protection. Things are coming along nicely.

Not all days produce great works, but today the greatest work was actually in the garden and I forgot to take a picture. The main garden area, the tea garden and the corn field were rototilled and prepped. Plus I got poles up to expand the deer fence.

I made 40 more garden markers. I hope these are well received. They are really quite helpful for our garden.

Made some signs for a friend’s bathroom. Explored the back areas on our property and didn’t die. The new trails are helping a ton!

Exciting news… Panorama Creations is now an official business and licensed nursery!  Hurray! I’ll be selling plants, fresh herbs and produce, jewelry, bags, quilts, paintings,  watercolors and prints at the farmers market. At some point in the near future, I’ll get an online store open too.

Also, the newest quilt is finished. There really is nothing like quilting 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 for a few hours to force some meditation time.

I finished the back panel for the quilt I’m working on today. So this is a little sneak peak for the colors. I also got the cucumbers potted up and did some soil tests. So far so good.

Alright… 10 scarves and 7 hats later and all of the worsted wool is finally used up! The tomatoes, zucchini and peppers were all potted up today. The greenhouse is getting full!

Oh deer!

Another hat day. Actually I spent a good amount of time on a new project, that I’ll post in a day or two. Plus I had the chance to explore a wonderful art gallery after hours and see their archives!

Monday, April 18, 2022

I found a few extra skeins of wool for the winter collection scarves and hats and seeing as I have way more scarves than I do hats, I decided today was hat day!

Happy Mothers Day! I mean… Happy Easter! With a few inches of new snow this morning, I think plain white eggs would be best for those Easter egg hunts today.

Snow… Snow… SNOW! (So tired of snow)

I finished painting the rest of the bird houses this morning. I also made some canvass paintings later in the day. I think they all turned out delightful.

I thought I was seeing things when I woke up to an inch of fresh snow this morning. Spring, where are you? I decided to stay warm and made mandala birdhouses.

Had some girls time this afternoon decorating the pear sucker wreaths we made earlier. It’s rustic and beautiful.
