Keeping busy today while waiting for the quilt dealer to open. Plus, our sunrises never, ever get old.

I put together the HQ Loft Frame this morning. I’m very mechanical inclined and love doing things like this, but I got to say there were a few moments where I was a bit miffed at whoever wrote the directions. You know, like when I was unscrewing and re-screwing a part for the sixth time. Ugh. It also did not help that mid assembly I realized the dealer forgot to give me a very main component, so I can’t actually complete the build today. They are, of course, closed today. For now, it remains a pretty & expensive non functional room ornament.

Nothing says Saturday night fun like building a 14’ light bar!

So I made the charcuterie board and did not like it at all. Not everything is a win on the first go round. So I reworked the graphic for the coasters and it turned out so much better. Will be remaking the board to match at some point. Also, since we’ve already had our first snow and temps this week will be in the 20s, the greenhouse in a greenhouse has emerged to help overwinter some of my summer plants. We’ll see how it plays out.

The first snow of the season has arrived! Hurray! Just a dusting but it’s refreshing to see.

Took the family to the quilt show today. Enjoyed seeing hundreds of quilts. The best part is that we bought the HQ Moxie XL! A total dream come true! I have the best hubby ever!

Made a cute little box for our recent wedding couple for delivery of their video. Also saw a Troll.

The thing about quick and dirty sketches is that they are often performed leaning up against a bridge railing with a dog pulling on leash in the other hand… such as the below.

I found this great astronaut garden statue today and he had to follow me home! Also, it was a lovely day for a misty ferry ride.

Planted 3 beds of garlic today, each with 50 - 80 bulbs. It’d be wonderful to find some everbearing strawberry plugs to put in the mix with them too, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for them. Also, it is officially the spooky fall season and I live it!
