Today was tree planting, transplanting and fencing. Now we have a little orchard area. Just need it to grow, grow, grow! So far we have apples, peaches, plums and cherries.

It’s been so spring like that I almost thought we were done with the snow… until it snowed this morning. Also, the flock of 30 or so wild turkeys has not been seen in almost a week, although I hear them in the forest. They are either having babies, are mad that I cleaned up the yard and burned the slash piles, or both. I think I’m going to have to create some turkey habitats for them n the near future.

Put together 6 new garden bed frames today. Have not placed them in their final home yet, but soon… And crocuses have started blooming! 

In other news, I went to the farmers market meeting today and signed up as a working member work this season.
