It’s a lot of gardening lately but it’s worth it. Today I harvested potatoes, tomatoes, peas, three types of kale and some broccoli.

Rearranged the left over tomatoes on the deck. The railing makes a great trellis. Spent the evening looking at the stars.

Today I learned what a ladybug pupae looks like. Also, I made some jellyfish air plants.

Currently harvesting about a half a pound to a pound of snow peas every day. Yum!

I had this great plan on quilting a poem into the white sections of the quilt. After the first two sections. I stopped because I wasn’t loving the look of the thread. I finished quilting the rest of everything else and took it off the racks. I’ll get a couching foot and go back with yarn or ribbon to do the poem eventually.

Made 5 garlic braids and hung them up to dry. Also, someone told me the mural was gone, so I checked and it definitely still is there and in good shape.

I harvested about one and a quarter beds of garlic today.  I also went to an art walk downtown to support one of my friends who was a featured artist.

The first pea harvest. Yay! Tomatoes are looking great for temps being crazy hot. Sunshades are definitely doing their jobs!

Temps are in the 100s now. Crazy to think that less than a month ago it was still freezing. Had to set up a shade cloth for the deck plants.

I made the quilt top today. Promptly put it on the racks and forgot to take a picture of what it looks like. So there is a picture of it rolled up on the racks.
